About Jet Crew Services

Jet Crew Services began with a simple idea from a working pilot. In 1995, our founder Dale Hillin started Jet Crew Service in Los Angeles to supply experienced captains and first officers to corporate flight departments. Operators needed qualified crews they could trust on short notice, and Dale knew the people who could do the job.

Years of flying for flight departments, owners and charter operators built something more valuable than a crew roster: relationships. Owners began asking Dale where to find their next aircraft, and who might quietly buy the one they had. One introduction led to the next, and the business grew from placing crews into buying and selling aircraft.

Today Jet Crew Services LLC is a private aircraft brokerage specialising in off-market business jets, airliners and helicopters. Our team, with representation in the United States, Asia and Singapore, works directly with owners, operators and flight departments around the world. We work discreetly, from the direct knowledge of pilots who have flown these aircraft, and with the personal service that has defined the company from the start.

Founder and CEO

Dale Hillin’s aviation career began at 17, in the right seat of a Lockheed Electra. In the 1970s he flew as co-pilot for some of the biggest rock tours of the era, carrying Creedence Clearwater Revival and the Eagles from city to city. It was a demanding education in precision, discretion and keeping very important passengers on schedule.

From the Electra, Dale moved into business jets and spent five decades in the cockpit of the industry’s finest aircraft. He has flown as captain and chief pilot on Learjets, Citations, Falcons, Westwinds and Hawkers. He has also been a check airman, a demonstration pilot and a Director of Operations. As a Gulfstream captain he flew recording artists and many of Hollywood’s best-known names, the kind of clients who expect perfection and privacy in equal measure.

Dale holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate with more than 18,500 flight hours, including 17,800 as pilot in command and 14,800 in jets. That experience is the foundation of how Jet Crew Services evaluates and sells aircraft today: by a pilot who knows what matters on the flight deck, in the maintenance records and in the cabin.

Over the past 50 years, Dale has personally sold more than 200 aircraft, most of them long before the internet. He did it the way the best deals are still done: through trust, a handshake and a phone call to the right person. That network, built one relationship at a time across five decades, is what Jet Crew Services brings to every buyer and seller today.
